That’s the question we were trying to answer when our team was thinking about the vast digital space of the internet. There are nearly 1.2 billion websites on the internet. As useful as search engines have become for a majority of internet users, search engines have a finely-tuned algorithm to filter through thousands of websites and provides what it thinks is most relevant to the search keyword entered. Doing a Google search on the keyword “bible” returns about 451 million results. And just looking at the first few pages of results, you would find some Bible websites, but also Bible apps and articles about the Bible.
Surely the most influential book in human history would inspire a good number of websites that make the Bible easily accessible and easier to read, search, and engage.
What we’d like to do here at Forallthings.Bible is to highlight and showcase other Bible websites that may not show up at the top of search engine results or garner the most web traffic. Yes, we’ll include many of those that are very popular, and we’ll also include other ones we’ve found that are noteworthy for their design, usefulness, and/or innovation.
You can browse the entire curated list of Bible websites, resources, and apps at forallthings.bible/showcase.
And, if you know of a Bible website we should consider adding to our showcase collection here, please submit the web link by click on the “Submit” button on the upper right corner.
